Helping Clubs and Athletes
Tackle Their Mindset
With the continuing rise in the popularity of sports comes the rise of challenges and adversity. Sports clubs often have a diverse group of members who can face overwhelming challenges when presented with the stress pressures and opportunities of playing sport at a competitive level. How they mentally approach and deal with these sudden changes and challenges can have a huge impact on their mental health wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of their teammates, friends; relationships and family, their club, and well onto their future opportunities and transitions.
How can the Mindset Project
help your Club?
By participating in motivational workshops like the Mindset Project. participants are offered the opportunity to consider their current mindset, the way they make choices, and how it affects them and those around them. By examining some of the underlying signs and causes of negative mindsets, the Mindset Project workshop can give them the tools and strategies they need to help make an impact on how they approach their own mindset and subsequent life choices.
Presented by NRL Manly Sea Eagles player Joel Thompson, the Mindset Project is a motivational workshop delivered at your location for groups of 5 to 500. Offering engaging and candid personal stories, combined with the tools Joel has developed during his own journey overcoming adversity and hardship, the workshop content can be tailored for all ages and group needs, including sports clubs, youth-at-risk, indigenous groups, and school syllabus outcomes.
