School Workshops

Wellbeing Workshops
for Schools

The Mindset Project run three different wellbeing workshops for students, focusing on prevalent issues that schools face such as poor self-esteem and confidence, emotional awareness and navigating societal pressures.

The main themes we work on are positive mindset, resilience, self-esteem and holistic health.
These themes encourage students to:
Understand physical, emotional and mental health.
Learn about and be their authentic self.
Realise and believe in their worth and potential.
Work on their emotional regulation and emotional intelligence.

Unfortunately the statistics show that “half of all the mental health conditions we experience at some point in our lives will have started by age 14 and over 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25.” (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2022).

When younger people can learn the foundations of these things and start personal development work, we can reduce these statistic and allow young people to:
Connect to themselves and those around them.
Build a community and support network.
Become positive, happy, emotional regulated and resilient.
Set and achieve their dreams.
Create a healthy lifestyle – mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Improve self-worth, self-love and self-respect making smarter decisions.
Feel safe and empowered to be their authentic selves.

The health and wellbeing workshops The Mindset Project run all:
Create a safe space for students to be vulnerable to open up and share.
Develop their empathy, compassion and kindness to themselves and others.
Assist in looking at directions and goals.
Give students tools and resources to manage emotions
Help create aligned and safe environments and relationships.

Each workshop is bespoke and adaptable to the needs, challenges and overarching values of the student and school.

The Empowerment Project

The Empowerment Project is full day workshop which can be run on-site or at an external location.
It is perfect for school camps or development days.

The main themes covered are:
Mindset and Emotions
Connection and Empathy
Self-love and Resilience
Goal Setting and Direction

The Empowerment Project involves a myriad of activities, games and exercises to make it fun, light-hearted and less overwhelming.
It is a gateway for students to build a support network, gain clarity on who they are, realise their worth and improve their outlook.

We provide take-home gifts for students so they can continue to implement the knowledge, resources and tools they received.

The Self Discovery Project

The Self Discovery Project is an ongoing 6 week program which is an expanded version of The Empowerment Project.

By having the program stretched out, students are able to learn each element more extensively and implement resources steadily.
Each week covers a different module, with the theory learnings being complimented by activities.

Week 1: Introduction and Direction | building rapport, setting foundations for program and modules
Week 2: Mindset and Emotions | emotional regulation, resilience and our mind for a positive outlook
Week 3: Connection and Community | kindness and empathy toward self, others and the world
Week 4: Wellbeing, Health and Happiness | gratitude, learning stillness and mindfulness, creating enjoyment
Week 5: Self-Worth and Confidence | building self-love and esteem, setting boundaries, societal pressures
Week 6: Future Outcome Setting | comprehensive goal setting and vision board creating

We provide take-home gifts for the program and weekly workbooks to complete with the aim of solidifying learnings from each module.

Being You

Being You is a potent information session used to set foundations of personal development and The Mindset Project.
It can be run for students and/or parents and is best run at events like parent info nights, as a session in a development day or at assemblies.

These sessions are shorter and less activity based, however jam-packed with knowledge and have been created to give students and/or parents a better understanding about the impact of:
Developing a positive mindset and outlook
Becoming aware of their worth and potential
Practicing resilience and gratitude
Understanding who they are and how they work
Health from a holistic and intentional perspective

Take-home gifts are available for each participant at an extra cost
